He shows clips of various Republicans caught in their own double-standard.
First up is Karl Rove. He talks about how impressive Palin's experience as mayor of a small town of 9000 people is, back to back with a clip of Rove bashing Gov. Cain (once considered by Obama for V.P.) for being mayor of the 105th largest city in the country (not really a big town, he says), accusing Obama of making a political move and not caring about whether this candidate is the best choice for V.P.
Next is Bill O'Reilly's double-standard about the family issues. Several clips about how the issue with her pregnant teenaged daughter is "personal" and we should leave our opinion out of it when, back to back with a clip of him bashing Jaime Lynn Spears and blaming her parents for having so little control over their daughter.
Third is the race card. Sean Hannity & Dick Morris complain about how unfair everyone is treating Palin, that she got treated more harshly than a man, and how a man would never have had to go through what she is going through. Immediately following is a clip of these same two men telling Hillary to stop whining about the "big boys picking on her" and she had better expect harsher treatment if she wants the job.
Nancy Pfotenhauer (McCain's senior advisor) also bashes Hilary for playing "the gender card", telling her that it hurts Hillary and women in general to make any issue whatsoever about her being female. Then, you guessed it, some clips of Nancy supporting Palin "as a woman", "from a female perspective", etc.
Then, for the final nail in the coffin, we see Sarah Palin herself making a statement about how women shouldn't whine about the harsher treatment of women and if we want the job, we have to just work harder and prove ourselves more than a man, rather than complain about how women aren't judged on equal ground to men.
View the next video clip advertised at the end of this one (http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?videoId=184087&title=newt-gingrich) to see Newt Gingrich telling Jon Stewart how Sarah Palin brings a whole new breath of fresh air to the Republican Party.
My favorite quote is Stewart asking "McCain basically makes his campaign that Obama is dangerously inexperienced. Then he chooses Gov. Palin. Is it because she's intriguingly inexperienced?"
The next is Stewart on the subject of Palin's daughter's pregnancy & Palin's statements that it was her daughter's decision so stay out of it while also making statements about vetoing abortion even in the case of rape: "What she is in essence saying 'Respect my family's ability to make this decision, and elect me so I can keep your family from having the same opportunity'".
