*shrug* as far as I can tell, people are using hashtags as punctuation, expletives, and just to throw something in there at the end, rather than actually expecting the hashtag to correspond with a thread of some kind that you can then click on to see what others are saying about it.
Then again, I didn't actually click on #cunt to see if anyone else had something to say about it, and if it was a thing. I guess I figured that I probably really didn't want to know.
