So apparently someone flagged my OKCupid profile with "excessive use of profanity".

I'm amused.

Apparently those who moderate the flagging requests are reasonably intelligent people because they actually looked at my profile, evaluated the motivations of the wording of such, and the request "immediately got shot down by practically everyone".

I'm flattered and encouraged.

I've also been approached by two of these moderators, separately, and told they enjoyed my profile and wished me luck.  So I'm hopeful that my approach really is doing *some* bit of good, at the very least, encouraging others to stand firm and not allow or excuse bad behaviour, at most, convincing those of the bad behaviour to change their tactics.

So, if you don't already have an OKC profile, even if you're not interested in dating, I send out my recommendation to support this site.  I'm not actively looking for additional partners either, but OKC has introduced me to some good friends ... and the quizzes are entertaining!
