I thought this was a pretty fantastic show. It really covered a lot of the same topics that poly people face. Things like communication, being open and honest, being caring and considerate of your partner, how one's attraction to a new partner affects the emotional connection to an existing partner.
The characters were very multi-dimensional. It could have gone the easy route when the show set itself up for some pretty cliched stereotypes, but it really didn't. The part that impressed me the most was that the "moral" center of the show was not the traditional couple, not the experimental couple, but the swinger couple! All the characters grew in surprising directions, and all of them faced challenges that were not necessarily easily guessed at.
I think this was a fantastic first season and I wait anxious and hopeful that another season is forthcoming and that it'll be just as good.
